Today we went into Port Townsend to go shopping. We walked along the street downtown, stopping at all of our favorite shops and places to go. My mom, grandma and I all found pairs of shoes at our favorite clothing/shoe place called the Clothes Horse. I got a pair of fabulous ankle boots, as shown in the picture below. We also had good luck at our favorite discount jewelry place Lila Drake, as I talked about earlier in the summer. Found 2 amazing silver rings, which are also in a picture down below. My sister and I got milkshakes at Nifty Fifties soda fountain, yum! Then we walked out to the pier and the beach. Came home, and ordered 123 Thai Food, as mentioned earlier in the summer as well. I got my favorite Panang curry with chicken and some killer fried rice. I could honestly eat that forever. Finished our day by watching Olympics, what else?
My "About" page is now finally done, feel free to check it out!

Yesterday I took a day trip into Seattle with my sister, mom, and aunt. We got up around 6ish, and left the house at 7:30. Drove to the ferry terminal at Bainbridge Island, and took the 8:40 ferry to Seattle. (I absolutely love riding ferries, so this was a highlight for me.) I took a ton of photos from the deck of the ferry, only a few of them turned out good though! We walked off the ferry and headed to Pike's Place after stopping at some of the little shops along the way. We got biscuits at Honest Biscuits, which were bomb. Then we walked by all the little shops and looked at all of the gorgeous bouquets they sell that are so cheap. Honestly, their eye for color is PERFECT. Then we walked up to the first Starbucks, somehow thinking that we could get coffees there, that it wouldn't be too busy. (We were wrong.) We found another one and sat on some chairs looking out at the big Pikes Place sign. Then we walked down the street to Target, where we browsed and tested the shopping cart escalator. (No, there was nothing in our cart, and no, we do not get out much in big cities). We then got tickets for the monorail up to the city center, and had a blast riding that. Had gyros in to food court there, which was delicious. The city center is really cool, so of course we had to do a walk-through. There is a huge fountain that kids can run through and play in, which was really cute. Then we quickly went through an art gallery, and ended up at another fountain, this one not as big. Sorry, no photo. Walked up to a fancy radio station coffee place, which was very metropolitan and cool. The adults got coffee here, and we slowly headed back to the monorail station. When we got back we walked down the hill a little bit to Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack, then popped into the Gap and Old Navy. I went back into Pikes Place, hoping to pick a bouquet of flowers to take home, only I was not as impressed with the color combos this time, as all of the good ones were sold. Then we came back out and stopped at Rachel's Ginger Beer for the adults. Headed down the hill slowly, wandering through son different shops including Watson Kennedy, a fine home store. We finally got back on the ferry, and I took some pictures of the city as we cruised out.
