Hola people! I hope yall had a merry Christmas! I just wanted to do a small update on what my Christmas break has been like, and post some photos that I've taken. Enjoy! ![]() Obviously I didn't take this picture myself, but we went to Rogue One while we were in Anchorage and I wanted to tell you. We went on the 17th, and we absolutely LOVED it. I highly recommend going to see it, they really couldn't have done it much better. Definitely one of the best Star Wars movies. It's extremely moving and powerful, and we were all emotional when it was over. It's definitely the movie that ties the other ones together, and really takes a "for the fans" approach. Basically, as the Variety review states, " It is the Star Wars movie we've always wanted." I *might* even post a full-out review of the movie too, in case you thought I wasn't a big enough geek. Whoa, that was a long caption. Sorry not sorry. Okay, I know most of you don't want to hear this, but I have to talk about my Cleveland Indians a little bit on my blog. If you don't like it skip over it, I promise my feelings won't get hurt. Another "sorry not sorry" moment here.
So my Indians just made a MAJOR move this offseason by signing Edwin Encarnacion from the the Blue Jays. This is extremely good news for us, because we were basically just guaranteed a chance for redemption at the Series. I'm really happy about this aquisition, because he was like the best player available on the market, and we signed him for a steal of a price. He fits in perfectly with our team and will make our lineup incredibly strong. This team made it to the World Series last year, people. That was without arguably our best hitter, and two of our starting pitchers, one of them a flippin All-Star. Yet we still took the Cubs to extra innings in Game 7. The players we were missing in the WS will all be back this year, plus add Edwin Encarnacion. We showed everyone that we could do it last year with our team in a mess, so what do you think will happen this year? Sure, there's plenty of time for chaos before the World Series. But what did the Kansas City Royals do in 2014 and 2015? They got to the World Series, but lost in Game 7. They then went back after aquiring 2 new players, and won the whole thing. Their team was built a lot like ours is now, so just sayin'. Thanks for putting up with my happy rant, hope you liked reading! Victoria ♡

I know this is a kind of different post than what I have done in the past, but it is a lifestyle blog too and when I’m not traveling these are the kinds of posts that you can expect from me. So I just got my package from Amazon that I ordered on Black Friday (it took so long because I’m a tightwad and didn’t want to spend money on shipping). I cannot tell you how excited I was for this package to come! I rarely get multiple things from Amazon. Plus, it was Black Friday, and I had a gift card, so I feel really good about my purchase. The main purpose of this order was to finally buy my Fujifilm Instax Mini 8 camera. Now I have wanted this camera for so long, and I finally decided to buy it with money from my birthday that I saved. I decided to get it on Black Friday, and I got it for $52.99. It actually wasn’t that much cheaper, I think you can get it for around the same price now. Amazon is definitely the cheapest way to go; I went to Michaels a while ago and they had theirs priced at like $100, which is outrageous considering film that you will be buying regularly. Amazon also gives you a selection so that you can choose the color of your camera, which is really great. I definitely recommend that you think carefully about the color of camera that you buy, because you don’t want to be disappointed or anything. The main colors are pink, blue, purple, yellow, black, and white, although they sometimes have special edition ones. All the colors are really cute, so whichever one you get will be awesome. I thought a long time about what color I was going to get, and I finally decided on the white one. The colorful ones are really pretty as well, but in the end I went with this one because I knew that I would not get tired of the color, and it also matches with my phone. I have heard that dirt does show up on it, but it does one all the other ones too, and if you use a wipe you can clean it really nicely. I bought a 20 pack of film as well, and it was $11. I know that that is kind of expensive, but if you want to take instant pictures, that is the price that you pay. It’s another of those things that are cheaper on Amazon, but the difference between that and the store isn’t as drastic as the camera was, so you could totally get film from a regular store. I am absolutely in love with this camera, it's so fun and works really well. The pictures are sort of small, but it is a mini camera, and they cost a whole lot less. The only thing to be careful of, in my opinion, is to make sure to remember that the view finder is not lined up with the lense, so make sure to keep that in mind when you go to look at a photo. I've been bringing it in my purse almost everywhere I go; it actually fits really well and doesn't get banged up easily. I definitely recommend this product, and if you have been thinking about getting one you should totally buy it because it is so worth it! Since I was getting this camera and had some spending money, I decided to buy some other cute things that I had been wanting. One of them was a phone case, and I found this awesome one on sale for $7. Since mint/turquoise is my color, I absolutely fell in love with it, along with the price. I don’t usually go for cheap phone cases, but this was an exception since the reviews were really great and it was so beautiful. I love it, it fits my iPhone 6s perfectly and does not feel cheap when you hold it. I haven’t had it very long so I will see how the durability is. My last item was sort of an impulse buy since it was such a good deal. It is a sort of boho wall tapestry to hang on the wall in my room. I love hippie/boho anything, so seeing this cotton tapestry for $8 made me really happy. It has awesome little elephants on it, and is a great addition to my room. (I might do a picture tour of my room in a future blog post. If you are interested in something like that then you can leave me a message.) Thanks for reading guys! If you have any questions just leave a comment!
